Owners & Buyers Elizabeth and Dominick Lepore just returned to New York following a productive trip to Paris for the Summer 2015 shows. Upon viewing of the collection, Women’s Wear Daily has asked for their feedback.  See below a sneak peek into the eyes of how Jimmy’s saw Paris this season:

What was your overall impression of the Paris season? Our overall impression of Paris was fantastic! From the summertime weather to the collections we saw, this season was truly a special one for us. The color black was evident in all collections no matter the or how it was used.  Jimmy’s comes to Paris not only to see the French but to find new hidden talent to add to our designer matrix and we certainly succeeded this season in doing just that.

Which were your favorite collections and why? Anthony Vaccarello for his continued edginess including our favorite signature sliced leather pieces; Balmain for his rock ‘n’ roll streamlined sexiness and the new perfect LBD, a black bandage dress; Isabel Marant for her bold tribal prints interpreted for the fresh, youthful and modern cool girl; Estaban Cortzar for his return to Jimmy’s and Elie Saab for his pelleted black lace and aquatic & athletic inspired eveningwear with sheerness and transparency, perfect for the Jimmy’s gal. If you’re not carrying these lines, your missing “it” says Dominick Lepore.

What trends stood out, and how will they resonate with your consumer? The wear-ability of this season’s timeless pieces stood out and will resonate with the Jimmy’s gal and her everyday jackets to embellished gowns.

Have you made any new discoveries in Paris? A few discoveries were found that Jimmy’s will keep mum for now on – come see us next season to see our fabulous new finds!  A hint: we were delighted to uncover many talented designers from other parts of the world.

As summer officially  comes to an end today, and we begin wearing our favorite fall finds, we wanted to share  an article from Hamptons Magazine in which Jimmy’s was honored to be included in…

Where Does Stephanie Winston Wolkoff Shop in the Hamptons?

SWW Creative CEO and fashion guru Stephanie Winston Wolkoff shares where in the Hamptons she finds her latest treasures and we were first on the list! We were extremely humbled to be included with other Hampton hotspots including Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors.

First on Wolkoff’s list is Jimmy’s (167 Main St., Westhampton Beach, 288-7000) for everyday items. “It has the newest and best pieces and fits my style to a tee,” she says. “[Owners] Dominick and Betsy are gurus; they give me a call when amazing pieces come in.”

Elizabeth and Dominick Lepore enjoy the sleek styles of this showroom as they purchase new Spring Summer 2015 styles for Jimmy’s!
